How to install CMS in x10hosting

Hi.
How can I install a Content Management System(CMS) in x10hosting? :phone:
Currently I am thinking of WebGUI (http://www.cmsmatrix.org/matrix/cms-...listingId=1001) since it contains a lot of features.

Not sure if x10hosting allow this to be installed in the web server?!?

PS: I have read their install manual & FAQ. Since they mention a free or cheap hosting may not allow you to install this CMS. So I wonder if the case applies to x10hosting.

I'm not sure about that CMS, but if you go into cpanel and then Fantastico, there are a few cms's there. Such as Phpnuke, Postnuke, and the great Mambo!

One thing I am thinking when I choose a CMS is:
- should I go for a CMS which provide many features?

WebGUI has the most features according to CMSMatrix. That's not important itself. But the main point is it has the features which I want, and some I may wish to wish in the future.

Indeed I don't know much about CMS. I have some questions:

Also sometimes they are not up-to-date.
I wonder if a manual installation is possible?

By the way, what CMS (if any) have you installed?
And is it possible to install multiple CMS?

Right, that's a very detailed list. I'm not sure about that CMS you have suggested nut from what I read on it it does have many features. BUT are you sure it will not be complicated? Phpnuke can be rather complicated at times and this CMSMatrix seems a more proffesional cms if you are sure than ok.

So I won't talk about the other cms's I'm sure you've looked through many choices and this is your fav. I suspect it is installable. I suggest you try downloading it and installing it using the installation readme and if you have any problems along the way, post 'em here and me and everyone else I hope will be glad to help!

EDIT: I don't like to double post. You can have more than one cms, as long as you have enough Mysql's left.

Anyway, there seems to be bad news.
Since WebGUI is written in Perl, probably the web server wil not supported.

From the list alone, yes it is since it has the most features.
But indeed I am the first time to use CMS. I have several questions which I don't know.

Should I use a lite/simple CMS, or all-in-one CMS?
How to do if I find out I miss some features which that CMS doesn't support?
Does this matter:
- PHP or Perl?
- MySQL or PostGreSQL or Oracle or MSSQL?
- Apache or Apache, IIS or Any php enabled server?
and so on.

How to get extra *free* MySQL (if possible)?
PS: My website are not for personal only, so I'm not going to pay.

I'm not sure about all the Perl/Apache stuff. You'll have to ask someone else sorry. Try looking up the cms's provided and see which you like best.

One cms that I know works is http://www.subdreamer.com/ it works as someone uses it on x10.

I realise that CMS you metioned.
However it seems it is very limited for the Free version.
Probably thre are much better alternatives and it's also free!!!
