Is forum participation required to keep web hosting?

Hi,

I thought I read somewhere, when I was signing up, that we have to participate in the forums at least one time per week in order to have our free web site hosting. Was I mistaken in this?

You just have to log into the Forums (cPanel and Account Panel do not count) once every 31 days.

You do not have to post.

It is suggested you do check out the News and Announcements sections.

Weren't you able to pay $3.00 also to not participate? I'm really confused since I don't get on my web site often since it takes a lot of research to add to it (family tree stuff), so now that I came back after quite a break my site is not showing. All pages are still in my control panel, but when you type in the domain name x10hosting shows up, not my site.

Very weird and disturbing! Not sure how long that's been happening.

i'm wondering how x10hosting profit from their website ? coz we don't have ads on our website and we don't have to post in forum
