Le he preguntado a Bryon la función exacta de las Requests en el AMP y su respuesta ha sido la siguiente.
Support Requests in the account panel initially go directly to the forums, in the form of a thread in the support forum. These threads are shown to their respective owners within the account panel, acting as a summary of their open/closed support requests.
Once escalation is fixed fully (by this coming weekend) staff can escalate forum threads to tickets. These will also be shown in the account panel for the user, marked by a red E. These will be the tickets in Kayako that the higher up staff see.
This should all be back online and working by the weekend.

En resumidas cuentas, los Support Request es como el formulario que había que creaba un post en Soporte o en Free hosting.
Cuando acaben el sistema de escalaciones el staff podrá escalar esos temas para que los revisen los Staffs superiores como antes.
