    Re: FrontPage Extensions

For me to "Publish" a C# App from Microsoft Visual Studio, Frontpage extensions are required.

I just successfully published so something's working. I'm sure some feedback from actual Frontpage users will give you a better warm fuzzy.

Okay, well that is good news....

As far as I know FP should be working now, I will be moving on to ASP.NET next.

If someone has FP and it's not working please post here.

I see something going on with the Mono project installation. My site .aspx site gets an error message but at the bottom it shows that you all have installed

    Version information: Mono Version: 2.0.50727.1433; ASP.NET Version: 2.0.50727.1433 <!--
... keep up the good work.

    Re: FrontPage Extensions

I can upload my files using front page but the the connection is timed out before frontpage is able to register the files as uploaded. Consequently, the next time I publish, frontpage is republishing the files I already have uploaded.

Something is not working at your end.

    Re: FrontPage Extensions

    Dear x10hosting,

I am replying to the post re frontpage.

I have just tried to upload my site and i am getting the same error.
windows share point services must not be installed on the server.
I am not sure what that means but it appears on both my desktop and notebook.

It will connect via FTP but then my menu and other stuff will not work.
Both computers worked before the chopin crash via FP extensions.

    Thank you
    pete
    Edit:
    Hello again,

Ok my bad Front-page extensions are working.
I needed to make new folder and set permissions.

    Thank you for fixing this.

    Pete

    Re: FrontPage Extensions

so how did you open a new folder and set permissions? On your local computer? I never had to do that before and my frontpage worked as it should.

    Thanks and regards
