cPanel changes (New option) Fantastico Alternative

Hey guys, We're installing another auto-installer, similar to fantastico. This script has 75 scripts available to be auto-installed, compared to fantastico's 51.. And, they are always adding more. For right now, due to the other changes going on (Mentioned in corey's post, 'Changes') it's only going to be installed on chopin.x10hosting for now, so this will be available shortly. You will see "Softaculous" under Software / Services within cPanel soon.. Here is a list of the software available with it:

This new service looks great - I can't wait till it's available to all. So much new stuff to play with!

By the way, is this in addition to, or instead of Fantastico? (I assume that it's an addition).

I didn't understand well. Did you mean that because people are using fantastico for now, you won't be able to install the other installer?

I didn't find the thread "Changes", but only "Updates".

And the last post before me, the guy said Corey was gonna join all servers?

I really didn't get much... Could any one help me here?

Isn't really a "help", it was a figure of speech. =D I just didn't understand what Russ said above. Is the fantastico going to be substituted or not? That's all. =)

This new software will eventually be installed on all the free servers.
We are only going to install on Chopin at the moment though, as soon as the rest of the server transfers are finished and the servers have been combined, we will install it on all the servers.

Fantastico will still be there for the people currently using it, but this new software is also now going to be there to give you a wider choice of scripts.
