yes the C:\Windows called VistaDrive is still there and im not using vista im using xp and i have downloaded a modded windows xp i saw it some were it said its faster then normal window thats why i installed this and i dont have any windows cd to install back to orignal bcoz i bought this laptop from a friend and he didnt give me any cds with it dont know what to do and what about ubunto its free never tryed it and there isnt any appz for it

Is there still a folder in C:\Windows called VistaDrive? That's not a part of Vista one bit. If anything, you have tried cleaning out the trojans and malware that are showing up on this PC in safe mode, right? That's probably the best way to remove these things.

Just delete the system restore points. That should remove them. Use Disk Cleanup to do so.

You said NOD32 right? It's odd how it didn't find anything if you did have a virus problem since it is one of the best programs out there. What you should try doing though, is going to www.malwarebytes.org and downloading that program for free. Once it's downloaded, let the installer update and launch the program, and then run a full scan. Once it's done, check over the results and remove it all.

Other than that, it might be an issue with the program crashing itself. If you can give me a screenshot or type up what it shows specifically, that'll help me out a lot.
