Logo Competition - 1000 credits!

Hello!
I am starting a logo competition for my website, primatetech.pcriot.com!
The one I have now needs to be changed.
It doesn't have to be a monkey but I prefer some type of animal that either looks like a money or is a monkey.
I am offering 1000 credits to whoever's I think looks best.
This competition will end in 2 weeks. (August 7th)

Any size as long as its high resolution.
Also, the winner will have to provide a PNG and a source file (PSD, XCF, PDN etc.) for the logo.

I may enter in something I may find a tutorial on how to make a weird looking monkey. Can it be a monkey in a black suit with a pistol in his hand? :P

I think my current one is OK but lots of people don't like it and I would like another one also.

@ JuniorD - Just make it anything that you think would come to someone's mind when they hear Primate. You can make a monkey if you wish.

EDIT: Also, the simpler the better.

I'm not exactly sure but I think one reason is it is a circle, and it is missing ears.
If you could create something with gradients also (to make it look a little more 3d) that'd be great.

want it more detailed, or? (i just made it black..) wondering if you wanted it different. wan't more of a feel for what you want. its nothing big. :P (if you want an actual full logo, then I can do that... I was thinking of a mascot or something)
