    Cool Re: Hello, Newbie here

Hello and Welcome Adam24, hope you have a long and happy stay with X10 the best host by far!

As for your question, as far as I know you can, I don't use DW but lots of other editors (mainly notepad) to edit my pages and they work fine so you should be ok.

Welcome to x10hosting! You can do either one; if you're new to website making I suggest either reading a primer on basic HTML and CSS. The lazy way out of that is to use Dreamweaver

PS I'm not bashing Dreamweaver; if used properly, nice websites can be made!

Since you are a newbie, I think you can get started with Dreamweaver but for advanced websites you can switch over.....

    Welcome to x10Hosting!

Use dreamweaver, you can switch between code view and layout view and can do a little bit of both, thats what I "normally" do because it's just easier.

    hao!

I'm using notepad++, and I'm so far I'm happy.. used to use seamonkey and frontpage.

there's also a html editor in the cPanel. i still don't know what it is capable of.. I might as well try.
