At the risk of committing a TMI faux pas...

Hi, folks. I'm not really here to win friends and influence people so much as I am to warn you that entering my site (should it ever go live) is something you do at your own risk. See, I used to do this stuff for a living (a very good living, in fact) but then there were neither the after-effects of a stroke nor a Parkinson's-associated dementia to deal with in those days. So HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript and maybe even a little bit of Ajaxian experimentation is a kind of occupational therapy for my sprained brain. I will make mistakes, and they are as likely to be eye-gouging aesthetics as they are programming oopsies.

I'm hoping to reinvent some of my more clever snippets along the way, so while the site will be a lot of that annoying grumpy old man complaining about kids these days rambling and a place to display what passes for artistic output, there is likely to be a bit of public-domain (or maybe BSD-licensed or CC-A -- I haven't quite decided yet) code popping up from time to time. It's not that I'm a genius or anything, but when you don't know what's in the box you need to think outside of it, right?

Oh, right -- the URL. Well, there's no there there yet, so a link is pointless at this point. It'll go onto my profile when it's ready, and I'll post back to this thread as well. The six of you that will eventually visit might appreciate that.
