    FamousButFrightened.com

I have been asked to re-design a site for a New ITV Production on Paranomal Events with Celebrity Guests.

Filming is due to start in March.

As you can see, the current site is pants!

What do you think of my re-design?

Plan is to have real static playing in the TV.

    All critics welcome!

It looks good but don't use all caps for text and increase the line height.

If you search the web for typography lessons you'll see why, otherwise you'll have to trust me in this

very nice, keep in mind that some people still have a lower resolution screen so design for 1024×768 setting and ensure it contracts properly, or ‘transforms gracefully’, to the 800×600 setting.

1024 x 768 is still the most popular screen resolution as of 2009.
Only a small percentage still use 800×600 screen size.

Yes mate thanks, I need to lower the canvas size!

I intend to Have the header (Nav) and footer elasticated in width and the middle content area fixed width (approx 800px) with an elasticated height.

Still getting my head around CSS :p
    Edit:
    **UPDATE**

    Site Live : http://www.yorkshireremovalsandlight.../FBF/index.htm

    Issues I have seen:
    Layout is messed up in anything below IE8;
I want to close the small empty black gap above the NAV bar.

Please test my site and give me feedback.

The flash TV animation is the old design, the new one I am putting on the site is the same size just has more footage to be shown in the tv screen.

There might be a lot of CSS coding that is unneeded. If this is the case I would appreciate it being highlighted so I can remove it safely.

    Cheers guys :p

There's something wrong with the text. It's too small, book in the background is too detailed. Maybe I'm wrong about the reasons but I find it slightly hard to read.

    Gr8 design.........

    you can add one thing.....

You have changed color to blue to show which section is currently open........(in snapshot, HOME is blue)
you can put an indicator in the shape of some ghost.....or hanged man/woman (hanged just below the section name....... or something like that....... it will generate more interest.......
