It is a great site for a first time designer. However, my thoughts are that there is not much to it. There is no real layout, or graphics, just text mostly. Also, a green back ground and black text together make the text a bit hard to read. It is always recommended to have a higher color difference (black to white, etc).

im with Twinkie on this one, dont like green, good effort for a first timer. lots of potential :-)

Truth be told, I'm not a real good visual artist. My art is in the coding. "No real layout" - that confuses me.
