Okay, I can create this directory in pubic/html. How do you add a subdomain? Is this done through cpanel?

    Re: Wordpress

In Cpanel there is a option called subdomains goto that and add your subdomain.

    Once added that
Create a redirect for that subdomain to the folder

Thanks. I created the subdomain. Should this get directed to public/html/wordpress/? Right now its just wordpress.mysite.x10hosting.com.
