high server usage suspension - time suspended arbitrary?

I seem to accidentally trip the suspension system doing small things on Wordpress (i.e. editing my theme, activating a plugin, etc).

My account is currently temporarily suspended for 1 hour for editing my template to incorporate asides (a plugin).

How exactly does the server deem things as high usage? I have gone numerous times doing the same things, editing my theme or activating plugins, and it's been fine.

Doing the same things I always do to get accidentally suspended, sometimes it's 15 mins, sometimes it's 30 and this time it's 60 minutes. I never do anything really intensive (i.e. cron jobs) or anything, so I am confused about how times are set for suspension and should I do things late at night to get a shorter suspension time?

(BTW I miss the rewards shop to trade in credits to unsuspend our sites. Not that I have a boatload of credits but ack, 60 mins :| )

Update 10 mins after Russ nicely unsuspended my account:

I was suspended again And this time, with no timeline --
Reason: High server resource usage detected.
Suspension lift on: 02/08/2008


What I was doing? Editing my Wordpress template, again.

My website is still suspended (suspended again after Russ unsuspended it, while editing Wordpress templates) and has been suspended for over an hour and a half

Update: 2:39 AM EST (Aug 3) My site is still suspended. It says that it will be unsuspended on Aug 2... but I've never had my site suspended for this long. Usually it's 15 or 30 minutes, this has been since 11 PM EST.
