Question about high account usage suspension / php

I stupidly tried running a script that accessed a server using fopen, cos file_get_contents was giving me hell,
and didn't fully error proof it.

It continuously came up with a loop of errors trying to connect to the other server. (Sorry)
I closed the page before it got too far.

From what i remember of php, it shouldn't keep doing it when you guys have unsuspected my account right?
Unless it's a cron job, it should need to still maintain a connection to the client or something along those lines?

Sorry, bit rusty on my php atm, used to never make mistakes like these.

Yes, once the account was suspended the script should have terminated from running.
