Newbie question: Browser can't access database

    Hi,

I'm a newbie to x10, a relative newbie to web hosting, and a non-geek as far as tech stuff goes. My account details are in my sig below. I've got most of my setup done, including importing a database saved from my previous hosting site, and am using my own domain which I've successfully pointed/parked.

If I go to my domain in a public browser window, and click on the link to the page that's supposed to display the items in my databse, I get this error message:
I cannot connect to the database because: Access denied for user 'lancel_lancel'@'localhost' (using password: YES)
My parked domain is fullofgraceandtruth.net .

What do I and/or you need to do? Thanks.

Re: Newbie question: Browser can't access database

It looks like you used to have a user name 'lancel', which would be the prefix of your old database 'lancel_lancel' Since your username here is en0ch your database prefix would be en0ch and not lancel.

Re: Newbie question: Browser can't access database

    Hi Corey,

Yep, well that makes sense. But being a non-geek I have no idea what to do about it. Is there something I can do to fix it?
    Edit:
Well I've solved my own problem by fishing around in under the hood in my website content files. Nothing blew up, which is a miracle. Now it's doing what it should do.
