Mysql unable to connect

Currently i host a counter strike dedicated server and plan to use a website hosted by this site for clan/server related stuff. Currently i am trying to connect to my mysql database through my server but cannot getting the following errors for the different type of host im using

username.subdomain name
nhhserve.x10Hosting.com
"unable to connect, unknown server host"

domain name which i can connect through
nhhserver.x10hosting.com
"unable to connect, cant connect to database"

i allowed permission using the ip address
74.72.12.22 just ip addres
74.72.12.22:27018 ip addres with port
192.168.1.100 masked ip addres
%

If anyone can help me out it would be greatly appreciated

yes it is correct, i have tried to figure out any problems on my side and couldn't find any

Connections are blocked by the firewall, what is the static IP that you want allowed through for access?

Im sorry but i have a dynamic ip, even though can you unblock 74.72.12.22 for now, it would really help me out.


Edit: Having seen another topic could you still unblock my ip address, i will pm you if my outward ip changes.
