Having trouble with site: Uploading ect.

Problem: When I upload my files with FTP(Using Smart FTP) the upload kinda.
Like you you go to my site and view source, I have upload my banner and site ect. But it does show up. Like should there be a url to it instead of banner.jpg. I dont know if its my FTP or what.


I delete all my files then I try to reupload them, but nothing changes.

Yes I cleared my cache.

What aer you trying to do here ? Get ads to show up or your whole site, can you explain a bit better please.

Basically I am trying to upload my website up as a whole "with the adds" I upload my site with
smart ftp my nothing seems to change.

Try changing ftp clients and re-upload. See if that helps. Everything on the free server is up and running so it shouldnt be a problem. I`m not saying its your ftp but we have to start somewhere.

I tried 2 differen't FTP's nothing has change. For some reason, the files dont get a full url. Just the ones I uploaded banner.jpeg ect.

Is your transfer type right ? Try switching it to "use global settings" or "Auto detect" not ASCII or binary. (might help)

are you viewing a cached page? try clearing out your internet cache

I tried s "use global settings" or "Auto detect" uploaded my banner. THe I could view it in the directory. Put when I uploaded my index.php file , everything went white again. THe banner wont come up ect.

Thanks, So would the problem be with my browser(FireFox)"settings" or virus protection programs ect?

EDIT Fixed: I took ad block off FF. I dont know why it blocked it but whatever. Thats guys for all your help.
