cPanel and Frontpage extension failures

For the last couple of weeks I have been having problems logging on to my account cPanel and also although Frontpage extensions are installed I cannot connect to my site to perform changes. Today ftp was also not working.

I have seen the server status notifications but according to that I should be able to at least log on to my site via ftp or the cpanel.

I am still unable to do either.

We will be upgrading cPanel and Apache on all free servers. This should fix the FP Extension and ASP.NET issues along with a few other misc issues that have been fixed by cPanel.

We will update when this is completed.

FP Extensions are supported by x10hosting.

I was never able to get Frontpage Extensions to connect after the server migrations in January. I believe they are end of life now and it is unlikely that any host will be supporting them. I switched my FrontPage over to FTP uploading and it worked fine after I re-uploaded the site.

even if it is supported, FTP is always preferred over FP extensions.
