I have 1 page hosted on the server so I put ads on it, the other pages are ran off of my server so they should need ads cause they are on my server. Please tell me why this is suspended.

File Hosting? hmmm, I'm not allowed to do that? Well I would have my site on your server if you guys would have helped me when I needed it but no.... nobody ever replies to most of my questions. I asked what your charset and collation were for sql and how I would get my site on the server but nobody helped me. Well look here, I searched the TOS for the words: file and file hosting, and it didn't show anything, so why am I not allowed to do it? Plus I made a page with a ad for you guys to make sure people would be able to make money for you, here is the TOS, word for word:

x10Hosting provides web page hosting. x10Hosting reserves the right to suspend or cancel a customer's access to any or all services provided by x10Hosting when x10Hosting decides that the account has been inappropriately used or otherwise. Currently x10hosting only accepts sites that are in English, Spanish, or French.

1. Server Usage
Personal accounts are to be used by the primary owner only. Personal account holders are not permitted resell, store or give away web-hosting services of their website to other parties. Web hosting services are defined as allowing a separate, third party to host content on the owner's web site. Exceptions to this include ad banners, classified ads, and personal ads. x10Hosting reserves the right to refuse service and /or access to its servers to anyone. Each individual is allowed ONE account only. x10Hosting does not allow any of the following content to be stored on its servers:

»Illegal Material : This includes copyrighted works, commercial audio, video, or music files, and any material in violation of any Federal, State or Local regulation. You may not store copyrighted Mp3s on your webspace in any way shape or form.
»Adult Material : Includes all pornography, erotic images, or otherwise lewd or obscene content. The designation of "adult material" is left entirely to the discretion of x10Hosting.
»Warez : Includes pirated software, ROMS, emulators, phreaking, hacking, password cracking. IP spoofing, etc., and encrypting of any of the above. Also includes any sites which provide "links to" or "how to" information about such material.
»Anime : Copyrighted anime is not allowed on our servers. This includes variations of anime including manga, hentai etc. Also inlcudes any sites which provide links to information about such material. If you created the material yourself, you may host the content on your site.

2. High Resource User Policy
Resources are defined as bandwidth and/or processor utilization. x10Hosting may implement the following policy to its sole discretion: When a website is found to be monopolising the resources available x10Hosting, reserves the right to suspend that site immediately. This policy is only implemented in extreme circumstances and is intended to prevent the misuse of our servers. Customers may be offered an option whereby x10Hosting continues hosting the website for an additional fee.

3. Advertisement Policy
We require avertisements are required to be placed on your website. This is a form of revenue for x10Hosting and helps us continue to offer free services like this one to you. You must follow the below terms in order to avoid suspension, or in extreme cases, termination of your hosting account.Advertisements are expected to be placed on a working site within one week of sign-up.
»Proper advertisements are required to be placed on each and every page your website.
»Advertisements are to be placed in such a spot so that the end-user can view them without having to scroll down on the page.
»Advertisements must be placed on your site. They may not be placed on any pop-ups or pop-unders.
»The advertisement and its source code must be on your page entirely. The image or code for the advertisement must not be edited in anyway.
»You may not promote clicking of the advertisements on your web site.

4. Cancellation and Refunds
x10Hosting reserves the right to cancel the service at any time. In this event customers will be entitled to a pro rated refund based upon the remaining period of membership. If a customer contravenes x10Hosting's terms of service, a refund will not be issued in the event of a cancellation. Customers may cancel their account at any time. Any incentives offered to customers when opening the account will also be cancelled. Customers may be given the option to purchase services which were offered as start-up incentives in the result of a cancellation. Fees charged on a prepay basis are non-refundable.

5. Indemnification
Customer agrees that it shall defend, indemnify, save and hold x10Hosting harmless from any and all demands, liabilities, losses, costs and claims, including reasonable attorney's fees asserted against x10Hosting, its agents, its customers, officers and employees, that may arise or result from any service provided or performed or agreed to be performed or any product sold by customer, its agents, employees or assigns. Customer agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless x10Hosting against liabilities arising out of; (1) any injury to person or property caused by any products sold or otherwise distributed in connection with x10Hosting's server; (2) any material supplied by customer infringing or allegedly infringing on the proprietary rights of a third party; (3) copyright infringement and (4) any defective products sold to customer from x10Hosting's server.

6. System Backups
Backups of all customer data are soley the responsibility of the client. x10Hosting does full nightly backups, these are to be used for system restore only, and are not tested for individual account backup. Any other questions on this policy should be directed to the staff.

7. Disclaimer
x10Hosting will not be responsible for any damages your business may suffer. x10Hosting makes no warranties of any kind, expressed or implied for services we provide. x10Hosting disclaims any warranty or merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The includes loss of data resulting from delays, nondeliveries, wrong delivery, and any and all service interruptions caused by x10Hosting and its employees.

It might not be in the terms of service but your site has to contain more than just file hosting. It has to be a working site. This is how its been since I`ve been here.

If you want file hosting you should have gone somewhere else, this is web hosting.

I dont know why you wouldnt reverse this and host the files on your computer and build a site on x10 that goes by the terms of service ??
