Wordpress installation failures

Hi.

I have tried to install Wordpress using the Cpanel scripts library. But after press Install button this message appears:

WordPress 1.5 Setup
Error: /home/oracuv71/public_html/wp already exists

I have previously verified that this directory doesn't exist.
The database for Wordpress has been created but there is no tables. So Wordpress is not working.

Is it possible to repair the script? or is better to install Wordpress manually?

To install WP manually only takes around 5 mins, plus you get the latest version which is not available in Fantastico yet.
That's what I have running on my site.

So I think you should try manually.
