    My HDD is corrupt?

Windows can't start. I put in the win7 CD, it wont run as it complains about corrupted files. The XP CD BSoDs, The Recovery Console ISO freezes. What now? Buy a new computer?

    Re: My HDD is corrupt?

It didn't get that far, windows just told me that it can't start, and the startup recovery didn't even start.

Tho, I fixed it now, by removing all but 1 stick of RAM, then I started it, shut down, put back all RAM, and now it works as it should again :s

In cases like these, sometimes an eraser to the pins of a RAM card really solves a lot of issues.

right , you can try to start with memory first , before going for HDD problems, HDD problems would sometimes make a sound. Random BSOD's are most likely caused by memory sticks and incompatible memory sticks
