Hello everyone,
I have LAMP installed in Ubuntu Karmic Koala (9.10) and for some reason whenever I type in the address bar of my browser: itsover9000.net it redirects me to localhost and AFAIK only www.you.com address redirected you to localhost in Apache. Strangely this only happens in Firefox and Google Chrome but not in Opera. I know it may not be relevant or important but I'm very curious of what could be happening.

Did you check your host file... if you did, maybe your router or proxy DNS settings are in a way that redirect certain hostname to localhost.
