Speed testing a VPS?

Hey guys, I was in the x10Hosting IRC today and people were wondering about what kind of speeds their VPSs can manage. Well, just as a heads up, if you guys want to try out a download test, below is a link to a CDN based file download for you to try.

As for uploading to the Internet, I do recall stumbling upon a public FTP server which people can use for real world transfer tests. I'll see if I can fetch that link.

NOTE: You can also use this to test your home connection. It should handle a 1Gbps line as I've seen it done via this link before.
