Just a general question and I think I have part of the answer just from the post above ...

When people post a new thread, the 2nd column in http://forums.x10hosting.com/graphics-webdesign/ is usually empty. However, sometimes it will contain a smiley face

(see Catlady's thread in Graphics & Webdesign) or an angry face

(see this thread).

My question is who controls what type of image is posted in this second column? Is it the moderators? Is it the readers? Thanks ...
